We are currently ordering the following;

Black Shift Knob w/ V8 Pattern:
http://www.hurst-shifters.com/?wpsc-...rd-16mm-x-1-50

Black Shift Knob w/ Hurst Logo:
http://www.hurst-shifters.com/?wpsc-...-machined-logo

White Shift Knob w/ Hurst Logo:
http://www.hurst-shifters.com/?wpsc-...h-hurst-h-logo

It appears Hurst does not offer a shift knob with the V6 Shift Pattern.

Any short shift options that maintain the factory look. The metal stick/ball combo is too old school for me :(

Hurst gives you 2 different mounts for knobs. One is the Chrome one you can use with the Hurst knob. The other one is so you can use the stock knob. Hope this helps

+1, there are many options for knobs. Only about $30 for a new look.

Installed last night and I'm loving it so far. V6ers, there's a step not shown in the install video that I missed in the written instructions at first:

You need to release the centering springs (I found it easiest from inside the car) before dropping the shifter assembly from underneath, otherwise it'll catch on the springs and you'll never get it out. I ended up pulling up the upper boot to make it a little easier. To my surprise getting that boot back on and lining up the "nipples" was actually quite simple with one of us in the car, one underneath.

Instructions specify this step for V6 only, so I guess the V8 has a different centering setup.

Fantastic tip for the V6! We appreciate the feedback!
