SPOILER QUESTION

If you mount a aftermarket spoiler, what about the added weight on trunk? will the hyd. lifts be suitable?
i know the GM spoiler comes with new ones to compensate for weight..thanks

Depends on the material tho. If you get a Carbon Fiber one, depending on the size it might not be able to hold it. My parents have a Dodge Viper with a Carbon Fiber spoiler and it makes the trunk lit so heavy my mom can open it and we have to use a baseball bat to keep it open.

carbon fiber is lighter than plastic/poly-urethane. That might just be a bad hydrolic
