Yankee baseball fantasy camp in Tampa, Fl - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

So many of you know I’m Phil's C5 Vette from other forum, and that I have been a Yankee fan all my life, so was my father, and so was his father. Since moving to Tampa, I’ve had season tickets for spring training and posted up pictures from them each year. I really enjoy spring training games more the regular season games, but do go to regular season games when the Yankees play the Rays or if im in NY over the summer.
Because I was out of town llast week for my birthday, all my family came over to celebrate my 50th birthday last night. I found it odd that we had 25 people over the house, but there were two gifts on the table.
We had dinner, and it was time to open the gifts, my wife tells me which box to open first, and when I open the box, there are batting gloves in the box. I figured she go these for me because I coach my twins little league team.
My wife tells me we all chiped in for that gift. I told her I just made a beer run in the garage, and I didnt see a ZR1 corvette, or a ZL1 camaro in the garage so what could this be?
The second box I opened had several brochures in a folder. Of course I didn’t have my reading glasses which I now need, so I had one of my sons read it to me. While reading the brochure, my son tells me "dad, we are sending you to the Yankee fantasy camp to play with the retired players". I was pretty stoked !!!
I’m going to the weeklong camp January 16-22nd just before spring training starts, and wanted to see if anyone else from the forum is going or has gone. I told my boys, Im going to try and get called up as a walk on.
I’ll be sure to post up pictures of the camp experience in January !

So everyday this week, Me and another guy who's going to the camp stretched and threw each night. Im not sure which is more sore, My throwing shoulder or elbow. Worked out in new cleats today, so maybe my feet are the most sore

50 sucks lol
