Black Plasti-Dip Grill. ****Would it work?**** - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

This is the grill I( http://ep.yimg.com/ca/I/yhst-4823126...2184_383732655) currently have on my 2011 camaro but its chrome and im trying to go black and orange on my car. Would like to know if plasti-dip would work on this becouse i painted the grill black and it looked good but its been a month and there alot of chip from rocks hitting it on the freeway and the chrome if starting to show.I put three heavy coats on with a lot of clear protective coat but still seems to chip. What would be the best cost effective option for this matter. Thanks in advance.

Yes plasti-dip will work.

Great, i also went to Home Depot and alot of people say they have gotten it from there but i had no look at home depot or autozone. Dont have a lowes around where i stay at anywhere else?

Ace Hardware sells it as well. I had to go to 2 or 3 Home Depots before I found one that had it in stock.
