Decision time.. Which intake to buy??!!

Alright, I know there's a few threads on this already, but I wanted to get some expert opinions here. I'm looking to buy a cold air intake sometime this week, I just need help on what brand to get.

Based on what I've seen and read.. Vararam and K&N seem to be top options. I'm really interested in hearing from you guys that have tried out multiple brands.. And based on that determined which is your favorite.

Any opinions help of course, but I'm really interested in hearing from the experts who have tried out a couple different ones. Thanks!

Eventually you will find out that the cold air inductions intake with scoop is the very best you can get.

I've owned long intake Injen, but you have to worry about driving through deep water, as you don't want to hydrolock your motor. Right now, my new purchase is a CAI.

Yeah sorry on my post I originally said CAI where I meant to say cold air intake. Basically just asking which brand to get. I edited it to make it more clear, haha.

I just put a roto fab intake on my car yesterday and absolutely love it. My "butt" dyno is telling me the car feels stronger but even if that is disputable one thing that isn't is the difference in the sound coming from the car when you get on the gas. Its pretty quiet like the stock box is but give it some gas and all i can say is its music to my ears. The clips I've heard on you tube do not do this thing justice. Another great thing that drew me to the roto fab intake was the ability to get it color matched to my car. It was pretty easy to install as well. Took me about 45 minutes with the minimal skill set that I have so if I can do it, anyone can. Overall I'm really happy with the looks and sound from this intake and can definitely say I would recommend it to anyone.

Very cool input, thanks. My color camaro is that deep metallic blue with the white stripes.. So that would be cool if I could get the color that same
blue, or I might go chrome, haven't decided yet. But obviously sound and power come first

Injen Long Tube would be my vote. I have it, love it. I went for performance over looks. So if you want looks when opening the hood don't get the Injen since you wont see it.

Sound is good. As for water I've never had problems with it. I've driven through light and heavy rain and ever snow and I have four ports on my front end and never had any problems. Just don't drive it like a Jeep and you'll be fine. I haven't changed my driving style since I've gotten mine.

I wouldn't change my choice, good luck on yours!

Not true. I see mine........

Everything else is TRUE. Love mine too. I am not afraid of rain or water. If I see a puddle I would just drive around it the best I can to avoid the water under my Camaro. I agree this is not a submarine.......

+1 on injen. Second to none, IMO. And really the only true cold air intake. All the others are more short ram intakes.

I have the Injen Short Ram Intake, I love it. Good power, and nice sound too.
