When are they going to come out with cams?!?!

I'd love to get that lope sound, I'm dying here! Don't want the "ghost cam" I want the real cam. Has anybody heard anything?

I think they already have. I've seen a video on YouTube of a 2010 v6 with a cam. I'm not 100% sure if its in production or was just a custom job. I'm sure someone else here will have a better answer for you.

Well you can have a cam cut for the v6 but as of right now there is no way of tuning it that I know of. My local speed shop said that they are waiting on hp tuners to come out with the software to tune it. They said that hp said 2 months for it to be released but the speed shop said it would be more like 6 months. So as of right now I don't believe that there are any v6 camaros with a cam in them. I would expect to see a performance cam as a opion sometime summer 2012

i don't know that the price of them would be worth it, since there are 4. the LFX engine is out now. i'm not sure if LLT cams would fit the LFX. or maybe i'm just a pessimist and would be pleasantly surprised if they are ever made.

If they did make them they would be expensive. Low volume set up and you would need 4 cams. I would assume the cams alone would cost over a grand. Between the cams, gaskets installation and tune it would cost well over $2500 for a set.

There are a few places that saying they might do cams for our beloved V6...but be prepared to spend some dough.

Tracy has already said that when his are done in the next month or so they will go for about $1000-1200 for the set of 4. And he is the only full supporter of the LLT. He is doing the first run of the Cams as a VVT delete.

That's not a bad price all things considered. I wonder what kind of HP gains would be possible. Also, it would add a much more beautiful lopey sound

guys.. mace will have cams in a month or two and tracy at rx said that they have other projects that they are working on right now and it will probably take longer than a month or two but those 2 companies are planning on cams as we speak, and no.. it won't be expensive, well.. depends what expensive is to some of you but it will be about the same as any other DOHC cams. Tuning won't be an issue, and there are more to it than just replacing a set of cams unless all you are after is lopie idle and about 20-30hp.
