Delivered August 12, 2009 A list of all the current mods: Apex Skip Shift Eliminator - removed, CAGS tuned out Engine Cover Delete White Hood Spears with Red Accent Stripes Heritage Grille Blue Tint on Headlights. Parking Lights DRL and Reverse lights 2012 Camaro Heater Hoses by GM Rotated Fuel Rails with Corvette Fuel Line Intake Manifold cover Delete Red Powdered Coated Coil Brackets SS Button Head Machine Screws replacing hex head bolts LSR Billet Strut Retaining Washers Elite Engineering Catch Can with Braided Hoses and AN Fittings Cold Air Inductions Cold Air Intake Hurst Billet 2 Shifter Sparks Performance Billet SS replaces rear bowtie Custom Cold Air Scoop Washer Bottle Delete Separate Clutch Fluid Reservoir Window Tint 15% Pinstripes by Larry Hook Dyno Max Axle back Exhaust Removed vinyl hood spears in preparation for painted spears SOON! Metco Billet Tensioner Pulley. Lokar Dipstick and Tube. Upgraded Hurst shifter bushings. BMR front and rear 1 inch lowering springs. BMR front and rear adjustable sway bars and bushings. Removed, CAGS tuned out. Next, some minor engine bay changes. ![]() Factory fresh ![]() New Era Intake Pipe Kit looks better than the stock one. ![]() Then I got tired of the engine cover,so it had to go. ![]() The Bow Ties got some blue vynil. ![]() ![]() Then a Bow Tie Delete. And another change ![]() ![]() Hood Spears Time for some auto crossing ![]() The graphics were only on for one day Still looking for something better on the front, so it was time for a... ![]() ![]() Heritage grille, I need to get an "SS" on there. But that wasn't all ![]() There was also tint added to the lights from Rvinyl.

Time for an under hood cleanup.
![]() So I took this all apart ![]() Swapped this out... ![]() for this, and ![]() this for ![]() this, and... ![]() got rid of the intake manifold cover ![]() and flipped the fuel rails 180 degrees. ![]() Took my coil brackets and... ![]() ...had them powder coated red. ![]() Now my engine bay looks like this.

In keeping with a developing theme of red, white, blue, black and gray/silver/chrome I also brought the rear bow tie up to date.
![]() Maybe someday a nice "SS" will replace the bowtie, but this is it for now. Next, a better camera.

Christmas Present #1
Today I installed my Billet Strut Retaining Washer and Nut Cover from LSR Performance.
This is the factory strut retaining washer and nut cover. ![]() Here are the LSR pieces ![]() First remove the plastic cover that covers the nut. Then the bolt. ![]() This is what is left after the factory pieces are removed. There is another bolt, do not remove it. ![]() Here are the factory pieces off the car. ![]() Transfer the large perimiter o-ring from the old steel washer to the new billet washer. ![]() Just slip the billet washer over the stud and torque to 52 ft/lbs. ![]() There is an o-ring in the nut cover, apply some grease or o-ring lube and carefully insert the nut cover onto the billet washer. A small screwdriver helps guide the last of the o-ring into place. With latex or nitrile gloves on you can rotate the nut cover with your palm to seat the o-ring. ![]() That's it, it is a very easy job and could be done in 20 minutes or so, longer if you take your time to clean the area as you go.
