Spoiler Time!!

Now comes the spoiler. Well I don't have it yet, but wanted to get ready for it's arrival. UPS should deliver it tomorrow. Then it is off to Hubbard's Body Shop to get it's color. I have the CGM Rally Stripes to put on it as soon as I get it home! I could have it done by the end of the week. That will be so cool.........

She sure does look sick without one, huh??....

Graphics for Floormats and Headrests!

First of all a special THANK-YOU to Lynn Deno for having a beautiful establishment such as Lynn's Embroidery & Graphics. And what can be said for Stacey Tate. She simply knows what you want done. Stacey's knowledge of the machines and her working her magic gives you exactly what will look outstanding....

Oh, BTW, it doesn't hurt that Stacey and her husband really like blue camaros...both 1968 and 2010. I promised her she could drive them when at the weekly cruise-in around the courthouse square this summer!!....

How nice is this!!

This is a copy of what will be on the floormats. Stacey is to embroider this on a grey piece of leather. I will then take that to Adair's Shoe & Leather Shop. Tom will then sew the leather to the floormats...

As far as the headrests, Stacey will shrink the file on the PC to fit the headrests. I simply will sleep standing up until they are done. I can only imagine how they will turn out!!.....

By the way, Lynn does many different things with embroidery, graphics, etc. Her website... www.lynndeno.com

Give her a call or email her lynn@lynndeno.com I am sure she will accommodate you and your needs!!!

I will keep all posted as things progress

Thanks....aquabluel99.....

Spoiler Time!!

I received my spoiler today from SLP Muscle Car Central. I removed the stock one last night getting ready to mock-up the new one. After fitting and working the mounting holes slightly, it found it's way to Mike Weatherholt and his crew at Hubbard GM Center in Monticello for ABM paint. He advised me it would be ready for the CGM rally stripes by no later than Friday--That is going to look pretty sweet compared to the original.....

Thanks Tim. Jackson and I got a sneak-peak at the spoiler today. It is done and ready to pickup tomorrow. We will get some pix this weekend. I took the day off to spend with him and we had about 5-6 inches of new snow to play with. We used the JD 318 with the snowblower and cleaned several drives. We went to breakfast, Hubbard's, and back home to have fun together...What a life!!!!...

Snow Time in Indiana

New photos coming of the spoiler. We had some serious snow here both yesterday and today. Jackson and and his friend Jacob Yerk had to get some digging time yesterday in the back yard.
He and I had to move the snow on our drives plus several others in the neighborhood. He is a great helper. I love him sooo much!!! I worked on Blue today after lunch time...

PS---Thought those of you in Scottsdale Az. and Hawaii might get a kick out of the weather you left behind........

Spoiler is done!!

I finished installing the SLP spoiler for Blue this afternoon...

I wanted to say what a pleasure it is to do business with Hubbard GM Center. Matt and his staff are the best. Mike Weatherholt and the guys in the body shop are top-notch as well. They painted the spoiler and had it done on Thursday. I did not get it picked up due to the weather. That was just fine because Mike said they needed to give it the "once over" and clean it up.
Here are some photos as I installed and layed down the rally stripes. In the end, I am so happy with the way the car looks with the new addition. It seems to bring out the pinstriping even more!! I also wanted to compare the original to the new SLP....

I love not only doing the work but bringing you the photos and the stories....

Thanks Man!! It sure would be nice to get a call from Lynn's this week to say the headrests and the embroidery work for the floormats are done...---Here's hoping!!!---

PS---I bought the color pens for the white thread on the interior...Can't make up my mind to take the leap. I sure do like the look of the 45th interior...Red, White and Blue. If I don't like it after the fact, I am hosed!...

Headrests Done!!!!

Stacey Tate at Lynn's finished the embroidery on the headrests and the leather for the floormats. She again did an outstanding job for me. I thanked her for a job-well-done even as I walked out the door to get in my truck!!! What talent she has!!....

Go New England Patriots!!!! :flag2:

Removal and Installation of the covers

Removal and installation simply takes time and patience--It is definitely worth the time and labor....
