Thanks so much for looking at our girl. I love this "thread thing". It is a great way to spend money...we used to talk years ago about our cars. We would get to the point we would say, "How many cubic bucks you got in yours"?
Camaro_RS....like I said in your thread, I will say it again about your ride...WOW!!

Another thing..Kathy was watching Jackson yesterday, and was stepping over him while he was on the floor playing with his dump trucks and scoops. Their feet got tangled-up and she fell bruising her ribs on the left side---big time!! So, I took the day off today and did things for her...Anyway, she will be okay. We got x-rays and went to the doctor today--Just takes time...
Very sorry to hear about your wife, hope all is well in the household and she will be okay. Cars can wait, Family comes first!

Thanks Tim. She is doing much better tonight. I would say her pride was hurt as bad as her ribcage. Main thing is she is going to do just fine...
I hope to get the items installed this weekend...NO...I will get them installed and pix taken...and posted...

Mobil 1

Found a Mobil 1 Emblem from Bigg Daddy Caddy. This is a real nice emblem. It simulates leather. I needed this because of changing the oil cap to L99 cap.

L99 from Emblempros!

I can safely say again that Roger and his crew outdid themselves. They made me a couple of L99 400 Horsepower badges. I placed one on the trunk lid to see how it looks. Looks pretty good with the other badges on the opposite side. I would have to bend them ever-so-slightly!......

I then placed them 1 1/2" below the CAMARO on each fender. The blue is a dead-on match. I am sure the car would have looked as good if they were red...Might have to think about that for a while.........

Thanks Tim, Looking for an opinion. I think the L99 needs some red pinstriping around it....any thoughts.. I am sure Ken Klim can come up with something pretty cool....

I added some C-H-E-V-R-O-L-E-T sill plate overlay decals from Thumperzecalz. They are a nice looking item and a real "cinch" to install...

Also from Thumperzecalz was the CAMARO RS/SS dash decal--added a little something to the interior..

Last I had some small bowties I had purchased for my center caps on the OEM wheels. I put one on each fender just in front of the L99 badge--seems to "wake it up a little"...

I will get her outside in the sun--that will be the "tell-tale sign" whether it looks good...for now--not bad!!

Looking good man. I've always been a stock purest and any time you take a mod and make it look stock I'm all for it.

BTW, I started typing out Buzz' story: I'm already up to 2 full pages in Word and I'm only up to the point of the day the offer was accepted. Guess St a bit "windy".

I think I need an editor.

Thanks Rpomeroy. Man, I can't wait to read what you have put together...Windy means nothing to me....just look at my thread...I was thinking about my future thread for the '68--Windy won't come close to describing that one. I have pix back to at least 1988 and before!!
Start your thread ASAP....We need stories and pix, pix, pix!!!...

My honest opinion, I liked it better without them. I think it takes away a bit from the l99 emblems. But looks good either way so whatever suits you better

You have made this ride your own in every little detail and i love it! I think red pin striping would enhance the L99 badges to the max and i say go for it, the Bowties I'm on the fence still?

Ya know, I am on the fence with ya. Need to get her in the sunlight. Ken Klim and his brush are only 20 miles from me...not a problem....
