Thanks. I would say around 30 seconds. If you watch the one video where my car is still on the lift you can see the exhaust pipes smoking. That is the paint burning off. The smoking went away within 20 minutes. I are sure most of the paint is gone now, but I haven't looked under the hood in weeks. I will get pictures to post later.

First time checking out this thread. Awesome build. Jealous of the headers. 2013 LFX can't do headers. :(

A lot of similar mods I will be taking on too! Awesome job!

Did you feel any gains with the headers? I absolutely hate doing the install on this car with jack stands but most shops want too much to install so I may end up doing it myself. I just want to know there will be gains

You're right. Just wanted to know the gains were worth it to go through the install on the v6 again

I think you will see anywhere from 20-28 HP unturned. Maybe 29-33 tuned.

Hey guys getting the girl dynoed in two weeks. I will let you know what she puts up. I don't have a tune and the only other performance mods I have are a cold air intake and exhaust.

Just curious, not sure if it's mentioned elsewhere in your thread.

What headers did you end up going with? And where did you get them from?

Your car looks and sounds amazing.

I believe they were the Pacesetter Long Tube headers and at the time they were $60. the price has of course changed by now but still definitely affordable on a side-note, I just ordered me some last night!

Amazon.com. i know one other c5 member that got the same deal, at the exact same time, lscamaro. right after we bought them for $65 shipped, they went up in price. i think they are $220 now.

Do you know the model # you ordered? I am seeing 70-1206 for $208.99 shipped, but it is saying it will not fit a 2011 Camaro V6.

If it'll fit the 2010 v6, it'll fit the 2011. And yes, I also got them for 65 shipped through amazon. It was a deal I just couldn't pass up

Mine is an 11 and it fits. Did need to get extensions to go from the headers to the exhaust. I ended up going cat-less.

I plan on painting mine with hi-temp paint since you said that yours peeled off instantly, i think that would be optimal for these instead of wrapping them.
