What if I was to conceal a regular auxilary switch behind the OEM switch. So I push in the stock GM switch which in turn physically pushes an auxilary switch that's mounted behind it and activates the fogs? Is there room behind the dash for something like that?

I'm probably going to go with something like this to solve the issue of how to wire up the second set of foglights:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/SMOKE-PROJEC...item53eac19924 This way all I have to do it pop in my current drl into the zl1 fascia then wire up the second fog lights separately. The given switch sucks. I'll probably scrap that switch for a different one that I can flush mount somewhere of my choosing. Question: How do the drl and fog lights mount into the zl1 fascia. Is there some hardware that holds in place or do they just "pop" into place??

Is it part number: 20957334 to hold the drl into the fascia? And where can I find that part? Can't find it online.

Just working off my imagination and simplistic mind. What if instead of the signal going to the BCM you routed it to a relay that activates the fogs?

I'll let you know when I pick up my car tomorrow but from the picture he sent me he does good quality work (had him also fill the holes in my trunk lid from my stock spoiler for the high wing spoiler install).
I'm sure he wouldn't say no to more work. How many did you have in mind? |

For the Air duct its part#10, and the side baffles Left#9, Right#9. Fan Shroud is on the back side of the Radiator.

Let me know if you find something that actually looks like it came from the factory. I cringe when I see cheap radio shack rocker switches on nice cars.

I think I'd have to see those mounted but I'm not liking the finish or the shape. It still doesn't look like "factory" enough

I don't like having switches shown in my interior unless it is factory. Even if this is what will be needed for the fog lights I will have it under my dash hidden.

I'm going this far putting the ZL1 bumper on and other parts needed, might as well do the other little stuff. More cool air to your engine is always a good thing! I will be supercharged soon this will be my set up.

You can probably find a GM one where it is not so long in the back like the Honda one shown. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2007-09-SATU...item35b7a95bb3
