I used two 45 degree couples one on each end and trimmed them to get it to dive quicker. So maybe more like a 50to60 degree coupler would be ideal.
Post a few pics of this mod would be helpful !

One of the best looking conversions I've seen... Now you just need the carbon fiber hood!

Maybe you will have better luck finding it.

I also had to trim the left back corner slightly for it to fit properly.
Do you have any pictures of this temp sensor you speak of?? I was planning on doing the brake ducts and figured I'd need the lower center duct for the ZL1 to pull that off. Is this where you say the temp sensor is on the old lower duct?

I'll get a picture/pictures tomorrow. I haven't messed with it yet because I'm getting the other parts ready for paint. There are a couple of solutions I'm thinking of.

Okay first thing I did was drill one hole to where the Air temperature sensor will fit in to. Ill leave like that to see if it will give accurate readings. If not I will go to solution #2 that is cutting out the old one and putting it on the ZL1 air duct.

Finished painting today. Actually about an hour ago. Now I will just let it sit for a few days then cut and buff it. Then put everything back together. Once I get the insert I will be spraying it gloss black.

Looks awesome! Its a shame to cover up the Carbon Fiber, I think you should just do a dark tint on the insert, that way in certain light you can see the CF but it will look black most of the time. Just a thought

Loving all these ZL1 front ends! When I installed mine I wasnt able to install the wheel liners because I didn't have all the necessary hardware. Or the ducts. I got the ducts in a month ago but still don't have the hardware to attach the wheel liners underneath. Has anyone installed these help me out with directions or part numbers for the hardware? I have the diagram posted earlier but no part numbers. Thanks!

I think Valdez is getting the painted black insert like me and just painting it gloss. Not actually painting over the exposed CF one.
