Strange noise and cleaning question

I have had to drive my baby a lot lately in the rain and she is FILTHY! I have taken her to the car wash and I have used the brush on her myself which did a great job cleaning the heavy dirt off. My husband told me the brush will scratch my black paint. So, what can I use that will get the stuck on stuff off?
Second question, and I believe this may have come up before? When I am turning sometimes and also while I am backing out, I can hear like a rubbing noise coming from the drivers rear. (I'm setting myself up for that one)
I am going t take it in to the dealership, but they are morons and I figured I'd get more info from here.

As for the noise, have your dealer check the TSB's and PI's for the fixes. There is a PI on the ABS needing an update to correct a grind issue when backing up.

As for cleaning, get a good nozzle for your hose like a fire nozzle to get all the heavy dirt and mud off the car. Then use a micro fiber type of sponge or mop to clean the rest with soapy water.
