SOLD: RS headlights w/ AAC dual halos

SOLD

These are the OEM RS headlights that I installed AAC's dual halos (white/blue) in. Perfect for wanting halos but still needing to be legal. The halos are installed behind the OEM halo, the OEM halo does not function. Selling them for $1,000 OBO shipped.

Passenger side

Drivers side

Does the OEM halo not function because it's defective, or because it's deactivated (not wired) somehow, and just the blue halo is wired to work? I wonder this because I would like the stock halo on at all times, then I would wire the blue to turn on via remote or button in the cabin.

The OEM halo doesn't function because it's not wired to. But you can wire the white halo to work in lieu of the OEM one.

Awe gotcha. That makes sense. Thanks Stieger. However, if I wanted to I could hook up the OEM halo, correct 9as in there is nothing wrong it, it's just not wired right now)? If I were to buy these headlights, in the future I may plan to get the colorshift halos, so i would need the OEM halo to work for regular driving and then use the colorshift just at car shows via remote.

Shouldn't see a problem. I mean I had to take the LED out to make the AAC halos fit, but I could include the OEM LED with the headlightz

I have another quick question. Since I have a non-RS Camaro, it's my understanding that I need a harness which can be bought from Ofer. However, what I don't know is how the DRL's will run. Right now, on halogen headlights the DRL's are the amber parking lamps right next to the headlights. So, on my non-RS, if I installed these RS headlights of yours, would the DRL's still have to be the amber parking lamps (maybe due to possible wiring differences between the RS and non-RS Camaro), or would my DRL's be the halo now that I'd be installing the RS headlights?

I'll be honest, that's a question for Ofer. I'm sure Ofer could rig you up a harness that does whatever you'd like it to do. I don't honestly know the answer as to what is doable/not doable on the OEM wiring side of things.

Thanks, I'll contact him to see what this would entail. I've always wondered this as I want to go with RS headlights. If I can save the money soon, I'd make you an offer but hopefully they're around by then. They look great on your car man.

Well let's just say my inbox has been pretty empty of offers, so they'll probably still be around. Thank you much.
