Too many meets, too little time.

Got on the HRPT site. Man! Then, this morning I saw the CamaroFest info for August. And I thought the meet at MTI was BIG!

Indeed. There are pleanty of great anual events...and more to be made that way through ACE5, I'm sure. I intended the Camaro to be a social thing for me, but what's available out there blew my mind. All thanks to being involved with Camaro5, too.

Nickey has been involved with the HRPT for many years.

There were a handful of Nickey built Camaro participating last year.

One of our 5th gens was a long hauler last year. Almost 4,000 miles with a Nickey Stage II naturally aspirated 600hp and over 20mpg average.

Dennis Barker our National Sales Manager will have his Nickey Stage II participating for the long haul this year. Make sure to ask him for a test drive!

Will you all be a vendor this year or collaborating with other vendors?

Dennis will park his car with some of our strategic partners during the Tour.

We will have a vendor space for some of the closer legs. Like Detroit, Mi., Muskegon, MI, then Champaign, IL.

OK, fyi, the Veteran1 car (Gen 5 car being raffled for the Wounded Warrior project) will be caravaning with us during the HRPT and we would like to get together in Stillwater with as many Gen5s as possible. Please post up if you are interested in a photo shoot in Stillwater or running with us on part of the tour. I realize we'll be staying in different places, so coordination might be tough, but let's try. Proposed plan is 6:30 at Eskimo Joe's in Stillwater for a photo and food!

start time at Warren?

hey group, do we have a start time at Warren? are the camaros running together...or do we mix into the group to spread out the viewing pleasure of the spectators?
and are we setting up for a group shot somewhere along the way...one of the big rest stops would even work

We don't have a meeting place in Warren. We're way west of there and don't want to be delayed leaving the driver's meeting as I hear it might be a 2 hour "ordeal". If you can be at the Don's of Traverse City diner at about 8:30-9:00, you're welcome to join in. It's south of I-96 W off the Beck St exit between Novi and Wixom. Also, looking for a venue for a photo opportunity for Camaros (and maybe some Firebirds T/As too)in Stillwater OK, for those doing the long haul. If you are out that way and see a Victory Red RS with white stripes and a Georgia tag that is REDHAWT, that's me!

My laptop has cratered, so I'll try to load some pictures tomorrow on my daughter's laptop........sorry ACE5 guys!
