This part seems to have a very small footprint for the amount of downforce it could generate at high speeds. Is it a functional performance part? How much down-force can it handle? Thanks

What speed has it been tested to, how is it mounted, and does it include the braces that are required for the one on the Z28? Because I do want this versus a front end conversion but without the above this will be a nice looking bumper destroyer.

Thank you for asking, It attaches to the front bumper of your car, it does not come with any attaching support hardware. It would handle 1/4 mile speeds and below, if you are looking to go over 120MPH, since this is an aggressive front splitter you would have to fabricate some upright supports found on aggressive front splitters that are used on race cars with a similiar front splitter. Thanks, Don

If it ran the full length of the fascia with structural ribs (like the stock Z) or had reinforced locations for the connections I'd be all over it. I need to support 150-160mph and I don't think that'd cut it.

It does come with the hardware to install it on your front bumper, what it does not include is any support to brace it in case you are going for high speed runs. If you are planing on driving speeds of 120 mph plus then it is suggested to put in some vertical bracing in to support the front splitter like you see with other aggressive splitters on the market. Thanks, Don

Kind of hard to tell but is it textured like a factory 1LE or ZL1 Splitter and does it require paint looking for the stock look of the after mentioned splitters...

Thank you for asking, it is more of a smoother finish, getting in painted flat black will give it more of the factory look. Thanks, Don

Will this splitter fit the 2010-2013 zl1 front bumper? If not, do you have plans on making one?

Just received mine.

Trying to find time to install it today.

I was thinking about how this lip should not be used over 120mph unless the splitter had more support to it.

I found this, something you should consider making and maybe selling it separate, or as a set.
