Just ordered a CGM 2SS/RS with IO interior from Dave Wellington Senior at Paul Masse Chevy in East Providence. They told me I had an allocation for late October early November. Hope that things go smoothly

Paul Masse is selling at MSRP, seems to be a class operation. I did better at Balise in Warwick. In East Providence see Paul Dragich or Peter Delgado. Good luck!

Hey PaulSS any word on expected delivery dates? i was told late october at the latest. It seems most people on the forums are more skeptical about more recent orders.

It's a crapshoot. With absolutely nothing to back it up, my gut feeling is 8 to 12 weeks leaning towards the 12 side. The big unknown is when will GM pickup your order. Prepare for the worst, hope for the best. Place an order and join the club. You will feel better.

I live in the northwestern corner of the state, near CT and MA. I did stop in at Balise a couple weeks ago and the guy who was there didn't seem to want to talk to me and didn't know anything about when Camaros would arrive. I assume other salesmen there are more pleasant.

Paul SS, you said you ordered from Balise. They are actually a dealer that I was thinking of contacting. Are they are selling below MSRP? If so, how much below, and do you know if they are accepting GM's supplier discount and how much that is? Any information is much appreciated. I haven't had much luck in my search thus far. Thanks!

I just found out that I qualify for the GM University discount. Anyone know if you can ask for this incentive after ordering? Thing is I already had to put down a $2.5k deposit to lock in MSRP at Paul Masse, however im not sure if the dealership is even part of this incentive program.

i ordered from paul masse in east providence back on 12/16/09, yes they are selling at MSRP. Ordered a 2SS/RS M6 Rally Yellow with Black Rally stripes, painted engine cover, 21' Aluminum wheels. My TPW is scheduled for 5/18, so i hope to have my car by June.

I used to work at Balise Chevrolet of Warwick a couple of years ago. The only guy that's still there from when I worked is Mike Hennessy... if you do go there, he's the salesman to talk to. He's the one that does all the ordering for them and actually knew what was going on back in October when you could first place an order. They are actually really good about working a deal with you. At least they were when i worked there.

Wow... that means EVERYONE that was there when I was is gone. Including the Managers and General manager/part owner. I'll have to go check back in with them again. When I was there they were generally the first dealership in the area to come down on price with new models.

I bumped into Mike Hennessey yesterday when I stopped to check out the Camaro's at Hurd in Johnston, RI. They have two of them there and they are twins! 1LT/RS, Red with black cloth interior. If I remember correctly, they are selling for MSRP plus a couple hundred dollar service fee.

my event code status was at 3400 as of may 18 so i expect the car to be built soon, hopefully this week.

I just stopped by Balise this past Sunday looking to see a Camaro. To my surprise, they had a 2SS Black 6 speed in the showroom. Evidently, the person that ordered it lost his job. :(

Balise placed a $12,000 dealer markup on this car and I told them that's crazy. I realize dealers do this but NOT all dealers do. The sales person also spoke the typical sales jargon which I cannot stand. I'm not getting a warm and fuzzy feeling from them.
