Took delivery on 6/18/09 of my 2SS/RS. Preordered 11/4/08. It was well worth the wait! I love everything about the car. It's a head turner for sure...counted five people taking pictures of it with their phone on the way to Dallas last saturday. Got gas and looked up and the clerk had bolted out the door and jumped in with me...first one he had seen. It's without a doubt the most sexy car on the road!

#5126 aka "BumbleBlu" made it home today after a long 49 days in QC and 10 days on a train. But the wait was worth it and has been a blast so far.
- Ordered 10/17/2008
- Built 4/22/2009
- Delivered 6/25/2009
- Orlando, Dealer not to be mentioned
- ABM 2LT/RS White rally stripes and gray interior
Here are two photos. To all those still waiting, GREAT things come to those that wait. And a big shout out to the Area 51 Alum! We are a good group that have been blessed with knowledgeable and kind friends. Thanks to all those that helped settle nerves and calm our "lost" car fears!

Car #19734 arrived yesterday and was striped this morning. Built the week of June 19th and have it already. There is a bonus to being an hour and change away from the plant. Absolutely love the color in person and it is the first compliment I hear after "love the car". Only a 100 clicks on the car but in lust already. First impressions........skip shift is a non-issue, you have to be at an absolute crawl for it to engage. Haven't driven a standard in about 20 years so getting used to the clutch again is a treat Much to the delight of the crowd gathered at the dealership when I was leaving I stalled it Have still got the old 4 speed mentality so I'm putting it in gears that I don't need to (it is very comfortable going around a slow corner in 3rd. No reason to go any lower). Have no regrets about the way I optioned it out but for anyone looking and wondering here are a couple observations in hindsight......don't think I would spend the money for the polished wheels, I haven't had a chance to really go at mine yet but am disappointed they aren't brighter. I would still go with the RS package and the special wheels that come with it and put the $500 for the polished wheels towards a set of custom rims. I basically spent $1380 on the RS package to get the HID headlights (but those halos are verrrrry cool), painted roof rails (which on the aqua blue does make a huge difference) and red SS badges. Boston Acoustic upgrade has amazing sound Haven't had it out much but the attention is staggering........my wife finds out about the attention the women give it and I'm dead meat I feel very fortunate to have ordered at the beginning of March and to be driving it already, hang in there everyone it's well worth the wait.

Delivered tomorrow but pics today!

Here's my new ride coming off the truck and with the hockeys just applied.

I didn't like the hood and trunk stripes so this is it! More to come when cleaned up and in my driveway!

Got the car on June 1 and was finally able to wash it and Zaino it today. Been raining like crazy since, and was out of town the only other nice weekend of this month. Here it is.

Happy Owner

Took delivery of my Black on Black 2LT, RS, 6speed manual on June 15 from Dan Vaden Chevrolet, Brunswick, Ga.

Got a little over 400 miles on her now and It is everything I expected and more, even though I have had the sometime nervous episodes of other drivers doing stupid things in order to take a close look at my car out on the open road.

On a stationary note, I have have had probably 50 folks come up and talk to me about the car, no negative comments at all and some just giving me an animated THUMBS UP !!

Even one guy driving a Ford F-150...guess he knows a good ride when he sees one !!

Got mine #13865 on the 17th would'nt you figure first rain in three months but when my car gets here, BAM three storms in three days.
Sorry about these pics (camera sucks) but I did dust off the 'ol' 69 to meet its new garage mate. Hopefuly my 21's will be in soon, I think the will look way too cool. Also looking into a trip to leginfelter to make her a real cobra eater.

SS Silver Metallic

Took delivery on June 16 at Grahams Automall in Mansfield, Ohio. Excellent dealer.
We are having a great time with this car. What speed and style! The road audience is enthusiastic and appreciative.
Are awaiting black stripes. But we are still having fun. Took 2 months from order date.
We live in northern Ohio and have seen only 2 other 2010s on the road.

I will post pictures soon, but thought I'd write a quick note on the experience yesterday of picking up my IMB RS Camaro. Everything was pretty typical until the financing stuff started and there was an extra $395 "protection package" tacked on. I refused to pay for it as my final order sheet and purchase price quote had all the taxes & fees and never mentioned the protection package addition. After about 20 minutes of the usual sales crap - "We add it to every car and it is not negotiable..." - the salesman said he was out of allocations and there were people willing to buy my car for $4000 over what I was paying. So, if I didn't want the car anymore he would sell it to someone on the waiting list and give me $2000 of the $4000; but, the $1500 down payment was not refundable! Bascially, he was going to give me $500 to walk away from the deal since I didn't want to pay for the crappy protection package. I actually thought long & hard about just walking away and just getting a Genesis coupe or 370Z, but I negotiated for some all-weather floor mats and trunk liner when they come in along with a couple of free oil changes and figured those would be close enough to the $395 profit package they were hawking. Other than that hassle everything went smooth & I'm finally driving my Camaro.

Sorry guys and girls, I've been out driving and enjoying the car. I got the car on Friday June 26th and I'm just posting pics and a video of my tint shop from Mike's Tint Shop. I am extremely happy with the car.

And now the Video:

It's everything I had hoped for and more

My baby is home and I'm loving it. It's well worth the wait. It feels much like the '69 I sold a few years back, but with a wonderful transformation! The wife loves it too and that's an added plus.

i got #4583 an iom ss1 on monday 6/22/09 at 600pm. it had 19 miles on it when i got it and i've driven a 105 miles this week. all i have to say is that i waited 9 months for it and it was worth it. now if it would stop raining i could actually take it out from the garage and use it a little.
