And what could that market-correct Camaro possibly be?!

Gosh...I wonder...and hope...and pray...
....ummm, a Z28 maybe........please...pretty please....

I keep reading all these post about the muscle car era. It seems to me a lot of folks forget half of what fueled that era of time. There was a social attitude then that we don't have now. There was a revolution going on, and doing everything " the man " didn't want you to do. Now there is more of a social rest and correctness everyone seems to abide by... IMO

Why does every bring up the Charger when comparing the camaro or mustang. It's a four door family car. Might as well compare the 300 to the camaro too while your at it.

I read that the Super Bee has less content that the normal SRT8. I think they are looking for it to be cheaper and weigh slightly less. Even so it's a boat and not comparable to what we are looking for in a Z28. But that boat might do well on the track with the 2012 upgrades. A 2012 SRT8 can now keep up with a stock Camaro SS on the track. A nice trick for such a big car.

Here's a song from back in that time...
"There's something happening here
What it is ain't exactly clear
There's a man with a gun over there
Telling me I got to beware

I think it's time we stop, children, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down

There's battle lines being drawn
Nobody's right if everybody's wrong
Young people speaking their minds
Getting so much resistance from behind

It's time we stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down

What a field-day for the heat
A thousand people in the street
Singing songs and they carrying signs
Mostly say, hooray for our side

It's time we stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down

Paranoia strikes deep
Into your life it will creep
It starts when you're always afraid
You step out of line, the man come and take you away

We better stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
You better Stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
You better Stop, now, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
You better Stop, children, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down"

"For What It's Worth" - Buffalo Springfield (1967)

Here's another song that is even more noteworthy in my opinion.

Written by Bob Dylan

Crimson flames tied through my years,
rollin' high and mighty trapped.
Countless violent flaming roads,
using ideas as my maps.
“We'll meet on edges soon” said I,
proud 'neath heated brow.
Ah, but I was so much older then,
I'm younger than that now.

Half-wracked prejudice leaped forth,
“rip down all hate” I screamed.
Lies that life is black and white,
spoke from my skull I dreamed.
Romantic flanks of musketeers,
foundation deep, somehow.
Ah, but I was so much older then,
I'm younger than that now.

In a soldier's stance I aimed my hand,
at the mongrel dogs who teach.
Fearing not I'd become my enemy,
in the instant that I preach.
Sisters fled by confusion boats,
Mutiny, from stern to bow.
Ah, but I was so much older then,
I'm younger than that now.

Ah, but I was so much older then,
I'm younger than that now.

My guard stood hard when abstract threats,
too noble to neglect.
Deceived me into thinking
I had something to protect.
Good and bad, I define these terms,
quite clear, no doubt, somehow.
Ah, but I was so much older then,
I'm younger than that now.

“My Back Pages” - The Byrds (1967)

This beautiful song, is amongst the best lyrical song ever written during this tumultuous time period which crosses the civil rights, activist movement and the “hippie” counter culture movement.

And, here is the polar opposite to social unrest and upheavel during that period...

LOL...strange days indeed, what a cultural revolution.
"Don't trust anyone over 30" - 1960's activist phrase

Umm... That SuperBee is a special edition and pricing will be more than the regular SRT8, my SRT8's MSRP was 49k, so that car would be somewhere around 52k for the special package.

I thought the yellow jacket Challenger was more and the Super Bee Charger was less than the top in their models.
