quick question on lowering springs

hello everyone, I am planning on installing lowering springs on my 2012 v6. I have been reading a few threads on the installation processes. Some people talk about a kit or something that you need to install to let you adjust the camber and what not. Do i need to do this if i will be taking it to a shop to get a tire alignment? Is it as simple as just replacing the stock springs with the new aftermarket ones? Thank you!

I think it depends on how low you plan to go and the purpose.
Most just swap springs. Some of them get a realignment. Those that drop more than 1.25 can't align properly without the aftermarket adjusters. Some opt to align to aggressive settings for autocross or road course and can't get there without the special adjusters.

I was planning on doing a 1.4 in drop in the front and a 1.3 in drop in the back
