That does look great! Are you thinking of doing that to all the trim inside the car? Like the door panel and the strip across the dash?

Yeah, eventually (if it looks good) all my trim will be white. Then I'll have the black interior to contrast it.

UPDATE:

I put another coat on today...looking to add some other accents so I gotta finalize those then I'm going to put on the clear coat.

I'm also working on the trim piece around the speedo and I messed up one part down at the bottom right along the edges and its a real PITA to sand and correct.

Well, I think I might have snatched a good deal today. At my local summit racing store back home, a member of our club said they saw an exhaust in the scratch and dent for a Camaro V8.

Since I'm at school, I had my father drive over (10 min) and check it out. Turned out to be a Borla ATAK Catback heavily discounted.

He picked it up for me this morning...pretty excited to put it on...I think. It's louder than I wanted but for the price I can't beat it.

The ATAK will be alot more louder and you will have some drone while crusing for sure......I sold mine cause it was too loud while crusing but it did sound gooooooood when I got on it.......I think headers and a cam made mine drone too much though.

Yeah I think I'll put this one on for the mean time while I save up more money for a tame exhaust and cutouts.

Yes...and at first I was okay with it...but I've hit it about a million times in the past few days....gonna order a skipshift and get it installed at MTI when I'm up there.

My manual doesn't have it...so either it got tuned out, or it has a skip-shift eliminator. What's the big deal? Can't you just do one of those? It can't be as bad as AFM in the automatics.

The Calloway? I'm pretty sure they put the eliminator in it. That's a beast out the door!

I'd imagine they tuned it out. Especially if you don't see the 1-4 shift message pop up.

The big deal is when I'm traveling around 2k rpm or so and less than 20 mph (normally around 15 i believe) and just wanna shift into second to save some gas (while not paying attention to the DIC) and the 1-4 happens... 1) I can't shift into second and 2) if I shift into fourth the car bogs down to like 500 rpms and starts to shake.

If I see it pops up without trying to shift I can just accelerate more and then shift into second, but its those times it wants me to shift into 4th but yet I don't see it on the DIC it comes by surprise and then I gotta throw it in neutral, wiggle it, and then put it into 2nd while holding up traffic.

Just a small annoyance that can be fixed with a inexpensive mod (<$20)
