... the wire is there to supply some electrical power to the show cars... notice that the lights are on... and when you sit in the car, the power seats work to allow people to get comfortable. Just working off of the car's battery wouldn't allow that for very long.

Red???? There is no red trim available unless its the red dash and door pieces from GMPP. The ones in the pic are Inferno Orange.

Those are the first inferno orange pics that I actually like a lot, especially with the seats and interior accents. I'm assuming the orange is the only color you can get for the stitching and the other colors would normally be the same color as the interior color it comes with? (If that makes any sense)
btw-those steelie's do look good on a silver car, too bad you have to get the base package to get them...

It's an inverter that converts standard electrical power to 12volts. As has been noted, the car's battery would not last an entire car show.

Batteries are disconnected at auto shows to comply with local fire codes. The inverter makes it possible to enjoy the powered features of cars displayed indoors.

that is correct... the Inferno Orange interior package is the only colored interior trim you can get right now... the other colors available are the usual black, gray and beige/tan that have been staples in the Camaro interiors since the 4th gen LS1 cars.

I can see the same thing happening on a Mustang forum for the new "Bodacious Super Supple Candy Red Leather" interior.

God I love the Pony Wars.
