There was a vendor on here that was selling them for $350 shipped at one point. I would be interested if the group buy could do better than that.

and secondly the v6s ecu doesnt have a tuner count as in you can reflash your computer 999 times and it wont tell it was changed. plus you get a stock tune file. |

Hmmm, that's tempting... How hard is it to tune? And are these headers %100 bolt on?

just a tip, most of the listings on ebay have a quantity of the item & a make offer tab. If they have 5+ sets, make an offer...I presonally paid less than $400 including shipping by using this method when I bought mine...worst that can happen is the seller will decline your offer

I have been thinking headers for a little bit now. I'm not a track person and I don't want my car to be loud and obnoxious but I'm into gains which I haven't heard what these will provide. I already have the Trifecta Tune (thanks to Badnews Racings special sale) but due to my knee surgery I've yet to send in any data logs which may be a while. So what sort of gains can be expected, ball park that is and will these bolt right up to existing exhaust pipes?
Also as a side note on the Trifecta tune, NO, they can't tell you've tuned the V6 since there is no flash count and from those before us who have had it since inception, its been undetectable at dealerships. I've had some say they put the stock tune back on it prior to taking their sled in for any type of motor work as a precaution but that is personal choice obviously. I may be interested in this deal if it happens for a great price. As said previously, you can find some of these items on Ebay for a listed price with a "Make An Offer" which each time I've opted on this the seller has taken my bid, so you really never no but the worse case scenario is the seller saying 'No' and counter your offer.

the gain i have no clue since i havent really heard of anyone saying. but keep in mind. they are long tube headers. they arent shorties so their should be a higher hp range.

All right If i can get this and trifecta for around 650 or below, and everything works out with installation ill get these. But what happens to the cats? Do they just come off and the headers hook up to the clamps? I'm having trouble finding any DIY's :/

right now you can get tuned for $300 and yes the stock headers manifolds and down pipes with the cats get removed and obx bolts right up to existing exhaust

If you could find $350 shipped I'd be in. I've been looking hard at these.

I would like to get these, but don't have the funds to do LTs and a tune. It would not bother me to drive around with the CEL though.
I am on the fence. Someone push me.
