well meet with the body shop rep today to go over my car to get it fixed. it did not go over very well, they pretty much told me that I’m screwed. they informed me that they will buy me a new bumper and paint it but will not prep/fit/install it and I would have to come out of pocket for it. I informed them that was not acceptable and now the insurance is going to send a specialized rep over to my house tomorrow. hopefully that ends better. If all goes according to plan I will have some interesting things in the work.

Well after some intense debate's with my-self over what route I am going to go with my car, I have finally came to a winner. New route is going to be a ZL-1 bumper and some dual vented fenders! I plan to "Mod" the ZL-1 bumper in a way to give it a unique looks but I'm gona keep that under wraps until its done. New parts should be ready next week so if all goes good, should have some updated pics on 17th

Good news - No frame damage
Bad news - Still waiting on parts but they should be done soon.

I finally got around to doing the heater hose relocation (was pretty easy with the whole front end off)
Engine looks better with out the heater hose's on top of the intake
Now I just need to flip the fuel rail! that's soon though

Yea I was worried about the frame, that bumper had no absorber so the impact transferred strait to the frame.

Well my plan for the bumper is not going to work so for now I'm gonna leave it as is and go back to the drawing board on it. Plan was to use the cross member from my ltz fog ports and put that in the zl1 fog housing but it's not deep as I thought it was so now I got to figure out a new idea

Install was very easy. I can see the increase in throttle response but not sure yet if I understand all the hype. Not displeased but not sure on where everyone get that butt dyno increase from
I finally got the car all washed so pics to come tomorrow

So while I was swapping my throttle bodies i figured i would snap some pics of my Intake manifold guts. Now I put a Elite CC on at about 500 miles, plumbed my driver side evac and did a breather valve at 6000 miles and am currently at 17000 miles. here is what the fruits of my labor have done to my intake manifold

seems to have been well worth my time. I figured more had slipped by then what I saw in my Catch can but I guess not!
