Yes, normally the service manuals do not come out on paper until February or March of the next year after production starts. When they come in I normally run a special on them for forum members.

Well, called my dealer yesterday and he said that it would cost the same, if not MORE, to order the service manual from him - he also has to go through Helm Inc and pay the same fees + more! So, I ordered it yesterday!

How do you share a hard copy manual?? They don't offer PDF or anything electronic...Don't say copy each page either!

I had to use Alldata and S12000 when creating the wiring harness and custom electronics for Conrad Grunewald's Formula D Camaro and was unimpressed... using an engine from the '09 CTS-V (LSA) and putting everything into the new Camaro, documentation was spotty at best.

I've always been impressed with the Helms manuals, just wish they still sold PDF/electronic versions or offered a web-based interface for fast searches and worldwide access for those of us that travel

Hmmm, I was going to hold off but I didn't realize you get 3 separate thick books for that price.. seems a LITTLE more justifiable now.

I just emailed Jimmie Johnson Chevrolet's Parts Department to see what they want for a set of manuals; maybe we can "gang up" on them tomorrow at the event to get a better deal

I called Quality Chevy in Escondido and they told me it would cost at LEAST the same, if not MORE, if they got it for me. They also buy it from Helm, Inc. and pay all the same prices. Then add a little more for themselves

that's why i broke down and paid almost $200 with shipping, tax, and handling ;(

They just became available and are $149.99 shipped. They take me 4-5 business days to get here. To order, follow the instructions below.

To order the service manuals:
Go to http://www.gmpartshouse.com/search.html
Starting in box #1 enter part number helmsmanuals and select Chevrolet make.
In step #2 of #4 you’ll find a comments section right under the verify order button.
Enter the year make and model of the vehicle in the comments section.
