If just the center was orange and the outside black would it be better? Any thoughts? Does anyone else feel this way or am I nuts? I've been considering modifying Audi headrest to fit (only because they rotate almost 180 not just up and down laterally which is really comfy for long drives). Well...thought would be most appreciated!)

Well, now people in CA can drive their camaros in the carpool lane and not get a ticket! The police will think you have a passenger!

I also thought it looked like a head when I first saw it. I'm used to it now and it looks good!

I know what it is...it's not so much the headrest, but the indentation in the seat FOR the headrest. This indentation causes the seat to look like it has "shoulders" and the headrest is sitting on top of a "neck."

Unfortunately they look a little bit more closely than to go for that.

I like the headrests. They are adjustable so for those who think they look more human head right can lower them. Personally for safety I like them the way they are.

They are not headrests but head restraints. I'm going on a limb to assume one of the reasons done for this was that people do NOT properly adjust the head restraint when they sit in a seat. Most people think it should be a comfy place to rest the head which, if adjusted that way will not be good in an accident. This design will help solve that problem.

That said I found the car very comfortable to drive and don't think they look funny at all.
