Bigger Chrome Exhaust tips.

Wondering where I can purchase exhaust tips that fill the holes of the stock rear diffusers on my SS. Thinking like a 5 in. tip. The ones I got now are way to small. thanks for any help.

You can buy them from Magnaflow. They have the 5" double walled tips.

Call JDP Motorsports. They are a vendor on here hand have some of the cheapest prices on Magnaflow stuff.

I think 5 inch is too big...almost like "twice rice" or something. Plus there is the chance of it burning the valance if not perfectly aligned.

On another note, there is not really any such thing as "Chrome" tips anymore because the chome process is so bad for the environment..everything is polished stainless.

The Callaway exhaust includes 5" chrome tips that fill out the stock valance openings quite nicely. Unfortunately it's not quite as cost effective as some of the other options since you have to order the blower too

5" is to big for these cars.

4" double wall look perfect in the factory opening.

I have Borla 4.5in double walled tips and they look perfect to me. If you're running the stock mufflers, you'll have a hard time finding a nice sized tip that will fit and look good without sticking way out the back. I looked and never found a set I was happy with. Adding aftermarket mufflers will eleviate that space problem and give you a nice sound change as well.

I'd go to a muffler shop. Have them take a 4" piece of tailpipe and stretch it to 5" opening. Then cut the end to the look you want (slashed or straight), take it to a local chrome shop and have it chromed. Then attach it to your stock or aftermarket exhaust system.
