LS7 69 Camaro

I've been lurking here for a while following along with the 5th Gen, so I thought I'd post some pics of my 69. I 'finished' it about a year ago after taking 3 1/2 years to build it.

It has an LS7 with a few Katech parts, T56, C6ZO6 brakes, 9" rear, etc, etc. On the motor, I ran a best of 11.54 at 124mph. It's definitely not setup to weight transfer, the best 60' I could get was a 1.84

That is an amazing car.

Once I get my 5th gen, the second gen will turn into a project car like this.

You have done an excellent job. Probably getting close to 30mpg and running mid 11's.

Enjoy

That's freaking awesome. That's about all I can say about it. I think the only thing I would change on it is putting a chrome front bumper on it.

No way, the endura bumper is way nicer than the stamped steel bumper.

I got 22mpg on the Power Tour last year. The way it sits in street trim and through the exhaust, it runs 11.50's at 124. The best 60' I could get out of it was a 1.84. It's just not drag car and those 18" tires don't hook so great. lol

I need to get the nitrous installed, I want to see what it will do with a 100 shot.

Thanks for the kind words guys, it was a fun project but took plenty of time to finish it. Here it is fresh out of paint with the suspension and driveline in...
