Rub it in...

Thanks! Feels good to finally be able to relax...even if just a little. Once you get to your goal it's a lot easier to maintain that achieve.

Cool on the blue berries! I love those things.

Thanks everyone for the words of advice and encouragment. Tomorrow I will be back on the ball with eating clean and healthy.
Everyone has been doing so great! I figured I will post my update pics to mark 8 months. I could be much leaner but just gotta dust myself off and jump back on this thing...

LoL...That's what I am hoping for....to have fun and be exhausted!!! When you did it, did you use their training plans? I'm gonna do their Tough Mudder Boot Camp to help prep...am looking for a hook up with either the AF security forces, army or local police to see if I can find a confidence/obstacle course to train on too.

You might wanna check these towel seat covers out....http://www.seatarmour.com/camaro they have a hole for the head rest and cover up your seat...no more worrying about your towel sliding down and getting your seats all sweaty!

I did not. I kept my weight lifting routine and just added some running for a couple months. Most of the course is really general strength and conditioning, so endurance is what it's all about. But you need to be able to pull your body weight up, and you should know how to handle a set of monkey bars

That's pretty lean. Very often when you cut calories for too long fat loss slows down, some times due to your metabolism slowing down, eating a little more is sometimes what it takes to jump start things again.

Ruby, Ruby, Ruby, everything in moderation.

Yesterday was a cheat meal day for me but I still kept it sane. I had a grass fed beef burger on flat bread (1/2) and baked sweet potato fries. I did have a couple beers and a milk shake though, but ate clean the rest of the day.

I had PF Changs for dinner last night, but I got one their healthier meals (I carry most of my favorite restaurants nutritional info in my car). And then I got some Froyo, but I got the mini size. SOOOOOOO GOOD.

On a side note: I did a 30 minute legs and abs workout Tuesday night from Bob Harper. I woke up yesterday kinda sore so I did 60 mins of yoga. This morning, my thighs are kinda swollen and I'm in some serious soreness pain. Today is definitely take a break day lol.

I really need to start hitting the weights. I did well not eating yesterday but I'd give anything to get my shoulder joints back. :(

I know. It is just really hard at her house. She always has way too much really good food & trys to send what is not eaten home with you. I already had to give up her amazing baked goods (she grewup in a bakery in Germany) :( . We did not bring home any of the meat or desserts(took some to my Dad & only brought home some stuff from the Commisary that is only tempting to hubby not me) and some fruit. I really did not do nearly as badly as I would have in the past, but still know I ate too much. and I did do some swimming & water exercizes (about an hour's worth) in the pool before we ate. I will keep trying to do better. I am still losing weight, but not as fast as I'd like. Maybe that clock ticking down the time to the Fest will help!

When I'm going to a friend's house that I know will have unhealthy stuff, I eat some grilled chicken and brown rice before I go...that way I'm already full and won't over do it.
