Best navigation unit
Which one of the here would be best to get?
1. Pioneer AVIC-Z130BT or 2. Kenwood dnx7180 I am leaning towards the Pioneer. |

OFF THE HOOK

I am very impressed, no scratches or anything else my car is babied and i was happy with install and installer! I had the best Alpine Double Din Selected and when i went into the shop to see how they were doing i didn't like it at all because of the way it curves at the bottom in the Metra kit, so i had them change it to the Pioneer deck!

Kenwood hands down has a better nav than pioneer. Pioneer may have a better user interface, but I would do kenwood. Also better sound quality.

I agree Kenwood is the way to go The new Kenwoods for 2012 are sweet I will be able to post all info on radios when we get back form CES next Friday here is the bypass info for a z130bt First This is for those who want to know how to perform the bypass on the new Pioneer x930bt and z130bt I am not recommending this by any means and always stress the safety and messing with this stuff can distract you while driving. So perform at your own risk and be careful whil driving:thumbs::cheers: For those who want to know how to bypass the safety features on the new X930BT and Z130BT This is what you will need to do First you start with the stock harness from Pioneer. Note the yellow mute wire. This is the wire we will be messsing with. ![]() Next step is to pry up the little cover on the connector. After this is done I simply took a razor blade and made two more slits in the connector to allow me to easily remove the yellow mute wire ![]() after cover is up and slits put into it you should carefully pull out the pin and will have this ![]() next step is to simply drop the pin directly below where it was in the harness to start with. Will look like this when pin is inserted. Push it in and you will feel it click into place. ![]() Next step is to take the mute wire you just moved, the light green parking wire, and the black ground (green wire and black are on second Pioneer harness) and twist them together and then you are ready to connect it to the ground wire on the harness you will be using. ![]() and That is it! All you need to know to bypass the unit and to have full control of NAV and DVD while driving. AGAIN We are not recommending this and not responsible for unfortunate mishaps that you could have happen while messing with this while driving. Dennis |

you just need to add a pac swi-ps or swi-rc or the metra aswc module to the radio is all and your controls will work with your Pioneer |
