Though I am planning on doing this myself, out of curiosity, how much would someone charge to do this? I'd like to know how much money I'm saving....or if it's cheap enough, how much money I'm going to spend. I went to a "professional" during the summer because I removed my factory spoiler, got the havoc spoiler, and needed stripes put back on. He wanted $150! I GAVE him the stripes to put on, he didn't make them. $150 was just to apply them. Maybe I was overreacting but I walked out. Ended up having the guy who tinted my windows do it.

Had mine done for $400 that was to remove factory stripes and apply the new kit. Was a good deal to me. If you look at my earlier posts on this thread I was quoted around $900 by some shops and several other shops wouldn't even touch it. I'm sure these kits are not hard to put on but if you don't feel comfortable spend the money to have someone else do it. If they screw up they pay for it. If you screw up you pay for it.

Ugh, I'm gonna at least remove what I've got on there now and maybe get a quote or two.

By the way, Dustin, you have to change your avatar now :-)

how will these stripes "fair the sun?" My car is a daily driver and summers are hot, so how long should I expect these to no fade?

That looks AWESOME!!!!

Hey NS, can you photoshop a CGM SS with VR stripes?

Also, can your carbon fiber stripes be made in different colors? Such as Red CF, or Blue?

I sure hope someone installs these on their own quick and lets us know how it was. They say that they are cut for our cars to make install easier, but we all know how that goes sometimes. I'm ordering the black carbon fiber package with the carbon fiber camaro window sticker so I'm excited, but like others may not know what i'm getting into with the install.

I had one shop quote me no more than $250. Which is not too bad. Still waiting to hear back from to more shops.

Omg so sexy. More pics! I can't wait to get my "custom" version in a couple weeks if all goes well!

Yea i'm also curious as to how self install is. It looks pretty easy based on the video shown. Anybody know how hard/easy it is to remove existing stripes on a car?

I asked the same thing. I was told to basically peel it up gradually with a heat gun. Then clean any remaining adhesive residue with 3M adhesive remover.
I was also wondering, how should I clean the adhesive remover so my new stripes will stick on?

We guarantee fitment.
Guys this is a top notch kit. We had our Stripe design stolen already. We are gonna build on the fact that we offer better quality products and better customer service. That is what we hope will earn your business over the copy cats.
Selling kits that don't live up to the hype is a sure fire disaster waiting to happen.

Thanks!

Thankfully, I have a month or two yet to decide since my SS is in storage until the spring. These are the first stripes I've seen that I can absolutely say "I have to have these"

I'll be following the thread for sure. If you do sell a kit with the blue CF PLEASE put pics up. I'll be in touch. Great work so far.

The adhesive remover is a great prep for the stickers. If you want to go,one step further use a 50/50 alcohol and water solution and your set.
