spring bolt or regular bolt???

should you use spring bolt or regular bolt for attaching headers to collector ?????????

I've never seen headers that didn't come welded to the collector. I assume you mean connecting pipes/hf cats. What did the vendor send you? Mine attached with regular bolts. Pics would help.

yes it the connecting the hf cat they gave me spring bolt. but i not sure

I'd use what they gave you in the kit. The spring bolt will help keep it from loosening up.

Yea,
use the spring bolt....it's good for when the stainless expands and contracts with a ball-socket connection.

Is that the right way to install spring bolts mean keep leaking ??? And tried with no spring and leaks ???

I tossed that set up because it's cheap hardware. I bought some grade 8 stuff from the hardware store and it works great. I over tightened the springs and broke them. Now I'm wondering if I should get some new springs to add back on.
