Muffler delete

Anyone know what the length of pipe needed for each side to complete this job? Are 2 sticks of 3 feet of stainless enough? or should I look at getting 2 5 foot sticks of pipe?
and to verify, the diameter pipe is 2.5" correct?

I am lucky enough to live about 30 min south of Kooks Headers so I am gonna go to their shop to grab the SS Pipe.

Has anyone done this mod with aluminized pipe? what kind of galvanic corrosion are you seeing?

thanks

The pipe will still need to be bent. Aluminized pipe would work ok

I did this on my v6, and it cost me $75 total, Im not sure how long of pipe they put in, or what it was made of. But, my v6 is 2.25 pipe I believe and I had they put in 3" new tube. And, I believe the v8 has 2.5. And, I have no corrosion or anything.
