squeaky inserts
I had some BMR rear cradle bushing inserts on my car installed a while back and i think they forgot to put the grease on the tops of the inserts where they make contact with the frame. Ever since i had it installed i have been hearing a lot of squeaking and i think this is the reason. Is there a particular type of grease that i should use?

I believe the poly bushings require something other than the traditional grease...
http://www.bmrsuspension.com/?page=p...&productid=852 I'm sure the BMR folks will be along soon to address your issue.

That looks like some good stuff. Do you think the inserts can squeak if not lubed properly?

Im not exactly sure what it means to "time a bushing", could you explain it? Maybe they did, i just don't know what that means.

before you tighten all the bolts you lower the car back onto the ground and then you kind of shake the car, then you lift it back up and tighten everything.

no, they did not do that. What exactly does that accomplish?

Booooosted.

Basically it 'seats' the bushings so the car sits on them with now resistance due to the bushing flexing in the wrong direction kinda sorta.
Best I can explain it. |

There is no need or an actual way to time rear cradle inserts, the rear cradle inserts basically just take up the voids in the factory cradle bushings. Timing is an alignment deal that needs to be done to get ride height correct. Honestly this is the first I have heard of any rear cradle insert making noise. If I were you I would try to verify exactly where the noise is coming from before you go through the hassle of lowering the rear cradle down.

I am pretty sure it is coming from the inserts. Before the installation there was no noise, after I put the inserts in, there was noise. Like I said before, I don't think they put the grease on the top of the inserts. If they are dry, i can see how that little rubbing is making the noise.
