Help after header install

I had my ARH longtubes and high flows installed in the middle of december. I just started noticing that my fans kick on alot faster and more frequently than normal. Also when I start the car in the morning the fans come on about 30 sec after the start. I live in NYC and it's kinda cold, morning temps are in the mid 30's as of recently. Is this normal. I did not change the stat if that helps. I am afraid of what will happen in warmer weather.

Thanks

Did you get you car tuned after the install? I know one of the things and tuner will adjust is the intervals at which the fans turn on/off. Also,it's been suggested to get the 160* thermostat with a header install.

Yeah I had the car tuned. But did not do the 160* stat. I know that the fans will come on more frequently. I am just concerned why it's coming on right after I start the car in the morning in the cold. I guess I'm gonna have to go back to my tuner to have him do something about it or maybe install the stat.

You should data log and let your tuner check it out.

probably has nothing to do with your t-stat....just might need to be tweaked in the tune.

If you have the defrost on, this will activate the airconditioning for short periods which will turn the fans on to draw air across the condensor. The purpose of this is to de-humidify the air supposedly.

I have to pay close attention to it. I called my tuner and he was bring it in if I am worried. It's not a problem, the problem would be if the fans didn't turn on. Thanks for the help fellas

I am currently looking for long tube headers for my L99 2010 Camaro. I would like to know everyone's opinion on what is the best brand to buy for affordability, installation diffuculty, and of course, being made in America. Currently have Borla cat-back exhaust.
