Now if they consider ...lets say $200.00 off the price per badge

I'll consider it, but still end up removing them

In part of my delivery checklist I gave the dealer...I included no dealer emblem/sticker. He wrote me back and said no problem!

I've always removed the dealer name from my cars...license plate frames I don't really mind as I can change those as soon as I get home but nothing on my paint!

I've always used a heat gun on low and some fishing line to remove the badge and then a clay bar to get the adhesive off.

i don't care to be there when they prep the car and do the pdi or whatever they call it but I allready left instructions NOT to put a dealer emblem on the car. Or ANY emblem on the car.

I'll gladly tell people where I got it and based on the dealer so far I'll recomend them go to my dealer because though they know next ot nothing about the car, they have been pretty cool about it as far as honesty but no emblem on my car.

Oh, hell no!!!!!!! I told the dealer - NO front plate holder and NO dealer emblem!!!! But, its an irrelavent point, because I'm number five and he is only getting four cars!!! The only things that I CAN get in this lifetime are a license plate holder and emblem!!!!!

Just make sure we all have our checklists in hand... and our sleeping bags ready.

it wasn't my intent to flame your dealer he just happened to be the first one we've seen to put an emblem on, and most of us are strongly against it lol so i figured i'd use the pic for this thread, and as far as not ordering from him i was being sarcastic lol

I hate those stickers and the metal ones are even worse. Even on the used cars I've bought, the first thing I do is peel them off. My dealer would regret putting that on my Camaro.

That thing is f'n MASSIVE!!! Why would they put such a huge, ugly, dumb looking badge right next to the Chevy badge?!?! That thing would drive me absolutely nuts!!

The dealer here uses a realitively subtle vinyl decal, that isnt really that big of a deal, but I would still request for it not to be put on. It wouldn't be a deal breaker though.

If they want to pay me to sponsor the car I might we willing to put it on there, but I specifically told my dealer no badge and no front plate. If they put it on then they will have to take it off.

I don't want any dealer badge, logo, stocker or license plate frame on the car.

Let the dealer advertise on their own dime. My car isn't a billboard.

My policy...

Either take the dealer badging off, or I take my business elsewhere.

I'm paying enough for the car as it is, I'm not going to advertise for you with a sticker on the car. License plate bracket, fine, trailer hitch cover, fine, anything on the paint itself? Get it off.
