My dealer already knows NO BADGES. As soon as I get mine it will be debadged of EVERYTHING including bowties, SS, GM and the CAMARO badge. I want it smoother than a baby's bottom!

After all the hassles in trying to get event code status updates---- and they want to put a sticker on advertising the dealer??? Quite Laughable.

I will keep the Chevy Bowtie & GM ones. They created this masterpiece.

Back in the 60's & 70's dealers used metal name badges- two holes drilled !. At least now decals are easy to remove. I bought a new Chrysler once in the 80's- dealer added at least 8 dealer names including ugly rear mud guards with their name on it. You know I didnt take that car until all that junk was removed. My dealer has agreed not to add front plate and dealer logo on my Camaro.

Dude... this is NOT a customer car... On the floor dealer car. Almost every dealer does this... Except for CamaroScotty's performance cars at Newman..

And they did ask me if I wanted front plate or not. (even before I brought it up). Of course I declined and will have it located in the trunk.

Most likely it will be on there but most can be taken off without damaging clear coat.

I'm glad I read this thread, I DO NOT want any dealer badge or sticker on my SS. I will let them know when they call me to confirm my order when my order gets pulled.

a small dealer emblem, PAINTED on, tastefully in a color that compliments the color of the car, is ok. A little subtle ad is ok. But a big stupid emblem? No way..

I see these on cars all the time and think "I can't believe people actually keep these on their cars."

The only way I'd keep it on my car is for a nice advertising fee. If the dealer isn't fine with paying me for advertising, then he'd better not put it on my car.

Maybe if I had a good dealer I wouldn't mind letting it stick for a lil while, but my dealer blows, so I will not have their badge on my Camaro.

Since I do service work for my dealer (pick up his trash) I feel I need to give them all the help they can get as long as it is ONLY the plate surround.

I'm gonna tell my dealer to not even think about putting those emblems and license plate frames on my car unless they want to pay me $1K/month to advertise for them (something tells me they wouldn't agree to that fee, LOL!).

Remove marketing decor from my car (stickers, license plate frames, etc), or I won't buy the car. Simple as that. It's MY car, not theirs. I OWN the car. If they wanted me to market their business for them, they can ask me to do so, but using other avenues. I wouldn't even let them pay me $1000 a year to "market" their car by having their stupid ass sticker on there.
