So I definitely recommend it!

Thanks!

I would like to say APEX has super fast shipping, I placed my order on Friday evening and received it on Wednesday.

Chase, Is there a difference between the Roto-Fab washer tank and the Apex unit? I ask this because I have a Roto-Fab air intake. If there is no difference will the scoop and the washer kit work with my air intake kit?

Hey Chase,

I tried to order your scoop and washer bottle relocate kit today but couldn't sign up with my Canadian address. Your website does not allow selection of "Canada" for the billing address. How can we Canucks order your kit??

Thanks
Tom

Our kit and Roto-Fab's are completely different systems. Our kit is set up in such a way that is works just fine with any intake and scoop set up. The DIY thread listed above by Camaro5 member Darth Emma features a Roto-Fab intake.

Canadian orders have to be placed over the phone or via email. There are some software issues that we are working on but they currently prevent us from being able to accept Canadian orders over the website.

I'll be ordering soon Chase! Got the pesky tax thing to deal with right now. Unfortunately, no matter how hard I try, I always have a number in the "owe this much" box on my tax form!!

On a dyno you will see something like:

Average HP gain: 5
Average TQ gain: 6

Peak HP gain: 5
Peak TQ gain: 7

This is in addition to your CAI. Sitting on a dyno there is very little air flow over the car, even with a wind machine you are very limited, so a dyno number does not give a realistic snap shot of the real world gains with a scoop. All I can say for sure is that it is noticeable.

Thank you, I can understand how it would be hard to measure gains on a Dyno with the scoop, but wanted to see if there were any numbers.

The reservoir in our kit holds a half gallon of fluid and if you over fill it the hose holds a lot more.

Got mine installed today - I went with mounting the fill tube INSIDE the CAI so it is not visible (had to make sure bolt heads would clear the a/c line on other side).

Looks good. To me that is the best way to do it. It is all but invisible when installed that way but it is still accessible.
