How ever you see it black flat stripes on a glossy paint job just wont do it for me, flat with glossy do not match at all example yellow gloss and flat black stripes would not look balanced but glossy yellow paint with a glossy black rally stripes is a match made in heaven.......flat and gloss....

I think the flat black RALLY STRIPES look real good on the Silver paint scheme. But that wide flat black stripe that comes with the hockey stripes shown on page 1 of Embalmer's original was NOT impressive. The hockey stripe looked cool, but not the 10ft wide stripe that comes with it.

I was a little worried til I seen Embalmer's new pix. I'm gonna keep them and have em installed at the dealer [Same as Embalmer's- Silver paint/with Flat Black Rally Stripes].

From what I remember reading previous stripe threads, you clean and wax the stripes like it was paint- just have to be slightly careful about wax buildup at the edges. I don't think there is any clear coat put on top either.

Thanks for the videos of the stripes installation. I noticed that the rear spoiler was removed while he was installing the rear stripe on the trunk lid. Is there a seperate small stripe which installs on the rear spoiler? If so then I am thinking there will be aftermarket spoiler stripe kits which will take the stripe over the back of the rear spoiler.

Your car is looking sweet. But I'm going to have to paint mine. I do not like the fact that the stripes do not go pass the mail slot... I really want that look. Nice, but I need them painted.

looks pretty good for vinyl. the install looked pretty smooth to, sorry about the mess up on the back stripes hopefully the second time goes better.
i think when i get my car i wount be getting the vinyl i rather have the stipes be painted on.

May is suggest since you will be getting an extra set of front stripes that you could have your installer trim a small piece off to go over the spoiler. I think this would give you car a unique look as well as the stripes matching perfectly.
