I could not have said that any better! Ryan, I really liked your car at the beginning of the thread---but with all you have done....I fell in love with it at the end! I can't get over the change in just the two-tone color..Nicely done, my friend--anyone that commits themselves to the detail that you have I consider a friend!!

My daily driver was my 2002 Honda Accord up until last Saturday at 6:25pm. The 1st pic was from 3:30pm Saturday when I just put on brand new wheels and tires. The 2nd pic was less than three hours later when some dumb ass decides to pull out of a parking lot as I was driving by. He t-boned me, spinning me 180 degrees and into a ditch, and then drove the hell off!!! Im still waiting to see what my insurance is going to do as far as repairing it or totalling it out Talk about being pissed off.

Well finally settled up with the insurance company from the wreck and now there's 2 new additions to the family 2012 KIA Optima and a 2012 45th anniversary RS convertible! I'll post up pics soon.

Thats a true one of a kind build. That definitely deserves COTW I'd you haven't won it yet!!! I am seriously digging the t-tops. My only concern would be later down the line about leaking or any issues. Other than that it is totally doable. Keep up the good work!!!

Thank you. Yeah idk why I haven't either but it's all good. I have poored a lot of blood sweat and tears into it, but its been my dream car and been a pleasure seeing everyones reactions to it anytime I bring it out to the shows now that it's finished.

I installed this myself and yes I added some internal metal supports along with extra tapped bolts to help support the added weight of the fiberglass hood. I did a complete write-up including pics and sent to Lupe when we completed the install. He should have them posted on here somewhere.

No prob! Yeah apparently I was the 1st to do it with a aftermarket fiberglass hood according to Lupe. Just take your time with the installation and it'll turn out good.
