Norwex Car Package

So I was thinking about getting some good quality car care products for when I get my Camaro soon... and the wife happens to have this "Norwex Party" coming up. She says they make good stuff, but I am skeptical and don't know nothing about it. They have this Car Package that they sell, it's a car cloth, window cloth, and a car wash mitt and it's $65 which is more than I was wanting to spend. Supposedly its all microfiber with one side of the wash mitt being chenille microfiber. Anyone ever happen to use this and is it good quality? Is it worth that much money?

Everything in this Norwex catalog seems to be way overpriced.

Certainly plenty of reviews out there on the interweb. I've personally never heard of them, but that doesn't mean very much.

That said, I think goal with a MF towel for your paint is to not introduce swirls to your paint. Whether or not you need to spend $30 on a towel to do this is going to be a personal preference.

Autogeeks.net carries a number of brands as well as reviews and how to videos. Adams also has some excellent MF towels for glass and their other towels are very good. All of the box auto stores and Box stores will also sell them, you'll just have to determine whether or not they're for you. Look for removable tags, rolled edges and a soft feel that does "shed" when you run your hand across it. Some shedding is ok, but it should fall apart if you shake it.

Most important, review how to care for them after the fact. The last thing you want to do is have perfect paint and give your $30 MF towel to your wife who'll just throw it into the wash with the rest of the towels only tho dry it in the dryer effectively ruining the towel. It'll sound silly, but get yourself a bottle of Woollite and care for your towels like your wife would care for her "Unmentionables"

Hope that helps

Interesting. Can't say I've heard much about them so I'd say check them out... the only way to know for sure is to try it.

I will say looking at their MF selection there doesn't seem to be too much in the way of plush towels. Most look to be short knap, let us know what you find out. Always interested to see the other stuff thats out there.

I recently played with a towel from a US manufacture that does "antibacterial microfiber" like this... I found it pushed things around more than it absorbed, most likely due to whatever treatment they put in to kill bacteria. Not sure if Norwex is the same kind of stuff, but it might be.
