In my opinion, I do think the 1st 69 will be more collectible because these 2012 ZL1s are the 1st ones from Chevrolet since the original 69 from 1969. 2012 VIN# 1 - 69 all have 1969 cousins. Some have been lost but we have documentation proving they existed.

As more ZL1s come off the line for 2012, 2013, 2014, etc. The first 69 from 2012 will always be in a unique club and Rick Hendrick's #69 is the bookend.

all are quarantined until what we call a 'ship to commerce' decision is made.

Many meetings between engineering and manufacturing - and when all is well, we then allow cars to be shipped.

This is 100% the correct approach, no matter how long it takes. This is a very complicated process to launch a new vehicle and these cars need to be right before they leave the plant. I appreciate the attention to detail.

Same color as #17, Silver. Sold new out of Penski Chevrolet, PA
it was one of the 50 that went to Gibb Chevrolet and was returned to GM.

Yes, I was a member of the East Coast Camaro Club for some time. I have been to several of the shows including the one in Hudson NH last summer.

We'll have to stay in touch.
I had a 1999 Camaro SS, I hung around a lot with Ken Howe and Mike Sullivan when I was more active with shows. Now I go to see the cars, not put mine in it. The trophies just don't mean that much to me for show anymore.

You weren't supposed to get the same color. Only two I know about in the area so far and they will be twins! LOL.

This is my sequence of events for January, I am really upset right now. I am getting to the point where I feel like cancelling my order. I was told to remove the b92 and move up in production (lower vin) or risk losing my order, the guys that didn't change their order are passing me up now. If I knew this was going to be the case I would have never changed it.
