2 piece wicker bill for Z/28, 1LE and ZL1 type spoiler

Many members have asked for this wicker bill and we have them made for the Z/28 type spoiler and the ZL1 spoiler, we also have the 2 piece wicker bill for the 1LE all years. Its made of tough Lexan and comes with all hardware. the center section is smoke clear with black sub section. the proto type here has extra holes the production will not and will be adjustable. Interchangeable with OEM wicker bill. Uses same hole patern and bolts.

Can a factory wicker bill and this one be interchanged? Are the mount holes the same?

Only center section is adjustable per the members. I have the OEM but we do not sell them its for my Z/28. GM has the metal OEM type. But we make a Lexan in smoke clear or black copy of the OEM wicker bill its 1/3 the cost of the OEM.

I do not understand why the OEM bill is adjustable? Because in the down position it is even with top of the spoiler, so why not just remove it?

Okay. I'm about to order from you guys. Just to clear it up. I get everytging in the picture right ? Besides the car and spoiler of course. Or is it just the clear attachment. I'm just confused haha. Because the price is beyond perfect if it comes with everything !

I ordered one as well. I won't need the rivets, etc., since I already have the OEM wicker bill. If anyone needs the installtion hardware, let me know.

Lots of people are running the cheap ebay copies of the Z28 spoiler- I'd imagine this would fit that just fine. I'll give it a shot and try it.

Yes, it should fit just fine if it has a hollow spoiler. If a solid spoiler they will also work by just threading into the material.

We found a much better way of marking the holes with the wicker bill itself, I did my first OEM and the template does not work as easy as using the wicker bill to mark the holes. Instructions come with it. When I used the OEM template it is not very easy to keep lined up and strait because of the thin paper. You just mark a single hole in the center and screw the center of the wicker on and then tape the two sides and mark it. I have done it both ways. we are going to change to 1/4 20 from m8 bolts to help keep the install easier and less cost for the tool.

If you do not need the hardware shoot me a email right away and I will credit you $20. Its OK I found you order and did a credit for you. One thing for the customers wanting to use existing mounting holes: if they were a bit off the OEM has slotted outer holes and gives you more leeway, ours may have to be slotted a bit if your holes were not placed exactly in the correct place, but that's easy. We can pre slot them like the OEM if you like for $25 or you may not need to do it at all because we do have our holes larger than the 8mm.
