all you need is a garage, some led bulbs from china, a used/abused yellow SS bumper, some chicken wire screen, wires, and some cool 3d graphics that you can easily render a different color to "Update" your customers on progress

I'm trying my best to see where G5 is coming from. If they are honestly doing their best to make this grill happen, they've gotta obviously see how bad this all looks for them. Even if no one was making fun of them and it was just all paid customers curiously and anxiously waiting on the finished product, G5 has not shown them much proof of a years work and progress. After all the hype, started by them (or their rep, I have no idea who the person is that's been posting on fb), they give their customers a night time picture, in the rain, with someone standing in front of the product admittedly holding something together. Now, I'm not bashing. Just stating what has happened. In this day in age, how difficult is it to take a picture? Pretty much all of the pictures that I have of my car have been taken, edited, and uploaded online from my phone. I'm not following G5 on Facebook so I don't know how many pictures they posted, but there's no reason why there shouldn't be dozens of photos of every angle. Or at least a logical and convincing excuse as to why not. Maybe keeping the actual design a secret so another company can't start copying it (don't use that excuse now because I just gave it to you). I want to believe that great things are happening, but they make it very difficult.

Also, I don't know anything about G5's history. Have they made a positive name for themselves? Do they have other products on the market, installed on cars, that are doing well or that show their design talents?

How about we all just stop paying them attention?
Withdraw your money.
Refrain from commenting on their Facebook and let's just talk to them when they're finished. Cause it seems like they're doing things like this to piss us off, or at least that's what's ending up happening: a bunch of us being pissed off.

Look at this custom camaro from Walters Elkland Chevy.

"Very careful attention was given in the designing to ensure the parts we developed were going to fit the existing lines of the 5th generation Camaro, keeping it visually in sync. And yes, those are functional headlight doors that do open and close as the headlights are turned on and off!"

Nobody tell G5 concepts that someone else beat them to the punch.

True, but the point is that it has retractible headlight covers that the G5 people have been "working on" for 10 months.

I like how it says RS on the grille yet I see halogen headlights.

the grille wouldn't be so bad if it was the right size. it looks like it's too big for the car.

Negative.

• Shark-fin antenna is body-color with this package.

I seriously think this grill will never ever be completed... Like I really mean that.

IF the grill were to be completed, it'd be nice as hell. The concepts and the pictures and everything look amazingly nice but the company is absolutely terrible in every aspect; whether it's customer service, meeting deadlines, fulfilling promises, EVERYTHING.

I'd actually consider buying the grill if there was a better company producing a similar one (like AAC, ShowStopper, ACS Composites, etc.)

The grille pictured above on the white car would be AWESOME, *IF* the headlight doors were not so small. They need to be wider side to side.

I agree with Andy. I love the design of the G5 grille (which by the way, they 100% copied from a sketch in Hot Rod magazine from back in 2008 or so/I have the picture), but would -NEVER- consider buying one. I've bought stuff I knew was Chinese -junk- because it looked like it would be cool and regretted it. I can't imagine spending this kind of coin on something made by these people.

The next phase of this train wreck will be when units are delivered and installed. Unlike a lot of people, I DO believe G5 will eventually deliver something. 4 questions will remain then. 1st, what will people find in the package when it is opened? 2nd, what will happen when people try to install the grille? 3rd, what kind of failure rate will we see? 4th, what kind of customer support will people get?

As of now, all we have to go on is what we have seen from them up to now.

Yea. it's still there. Apparently it's "too wet" to install a grille and take photos which tells me that they have no workshop or garage. Probably working out of a living room. They've also said they've cycled the doors 1000 times! WoW, that's equivalent to almost 3 cycles a day for a whole YEAR! That says quality!

Yeah, should weather really even matter? I mean, assuming that they're installing it INDOORS like any reputable company/shop would...

You might want to read up on your 1st gen history - the RS is referencing 1st gen RS Camaros which had hide away headlights.

So apparently they're promising $150 pre-paid debit cards to compensate for the wait when they finally start shipping. I call this some complete and utter BS.

SO, let me get this straight.....They developed a grille for a car they do not own. They just bought a front facia out of a junk yard and used that to develope the entire project? So, they had no idea how it would REALLY fit on a car? Which probably has a lot to do with the FACT that it did NOT fit on the white Camaro they took pics of. And they do not even have a personal garage like at someones house to install this thing? SO.....do these guys live in an apartment and are doing all this out of their kitchen? "Its too wet to install"?????

Hey, they banned me for doing nothing more than asking questions and pointing out when they missed deadlines, so whatever.....I thought I was being very fair all along as I would point out when they did things RIGHT. For example, I think them claiming they will include a $150 gift card with all the early orders is excellent.

Hey awfarley I was joking. I know what the RS package contains I own a Camaro with the RS package and my Camaro does not have the stripes. I was only saying that because the stripes are called Rally Stripes. Sorry for any confusion that is what I meant by that. Didn't think I would have to do that.
