2010-11 LLT Needed To Test VMax Intake Isolator - Indy Area - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hey All,

I have a VMax upper plenum isolator here at the shop and need to do some testing. There is some preliminary testing going on this morning at another shop and the repoted results are quite interesting.

I would prefer to have a manual trans equipped car to use, but an A6 auto will do for sure.

What I like about the VMax piece as compared to another that is available is that it is thinner but, at least right now, shows similar results. Plus the thinner design makes it easier to install and you can reuse the factory upper plenum bolts. It will also be possible for it to work with all current available cold air intake setups, including the Vararam.

If no one else steps up I guess my little old V-6 Auto could do it. If it can't be done on a Saturday then I would have to back out mine is a daily driver so i can't be without.

I guess I'll hop in line behind dragom, just in case.

Mine is also auto with only your VMax TB for performance upgrades so far.

I will be very interested to see what these results you mention include. I have to admit I have no idea what this piece is or what it does.

Mine has the VMax TB also with a CAI cold air induction system. MPD1 Z force hood. Also Rx catch can.

Thanks for the info dragom, I am going to try and use Bluestreak first as i have baselines for him and he is about as stock as it gets. If I do end up needing you I will let you know.
