I was on the chevy website looking for stripe options and don't see any. I don't know if I've seen any ZL1's with stripes. Are they the rally stripes or hockey?

Thanks, I was wondering how that worked.

Because the unpainted, black plastic shark fin matches the optional black stripe. If you don't get a stripe, the fin is painted the color of the body. Still not sure what color the fin will be on the mysterious optional gray stripe that no one outside of GM has seen.

Here's a shot of the optional black stripe with the unpainted fin.

Those tires really fill up the wheel wells nicely! The more I read on this automobile, the more it becomes clear just how much of a legend it is. Whoever it was that posted the FASTLAPS.com link is very informative.

Here it is again.. is surely allows you to see how most other cars of any caliber compare to the ZL1. And, it is amazing. Also, the nice thing is that those times are very likely to be improved upon!

http://www.fastestlaps.com/cars/chev...maro_zl-1.html

Again, to see this car actually on the road, running parallel to its competition, it will be the stunning vehicle IMHO! Amazing!

The status code is 4300 if you ordered stripes. This schedules movement to the vendor. That's where I am now as of this morning.

Out of the 200+ ZL1's that were there not a single one was Crystal red.

And for those complaining about our harsh Canadian winter. We have had more rain than snow, and have had abnormaly warm weather all season.
The pics show about a 1/4 of the ZL1's that are actully there.
And if your think these cars look good in photos wait until u see one in person. I cant even begin to descibe how beautiful these cars are in person.

[QUOTE=2010SSRSM6;4455219]Driving it with the spacers in?

Met a guy with a 50th anniversary Corvette coupe last fall. Said the magnetic ride in the car was lousy. He bought it new. We put his car on a lift and guess what...the plastic spacers were still jammed in all 4 corners of the car. So all you ZL1 guys get ready and "CHECK" for those spacers.
I am positive some will be left in. I think we've taken spacers out of 15-20 Corvettes over the years!!!

not that it's a big deal - but i didn't see a sunroof on any of the Z's. Will they even allow yal that option?

Wondering if it's a structural integrity kinda thing, Just like they DON'T offer a ZO6/ZR1 in convertible.

SSmoked, thanks for posting all of the pictures. I was looking for Crystal Red too. Since the color was just made available it might be some time before the plant catches up with previous orders and starts with CRT orders. Thanks again, great shots.
