I have just purchased the terminator hood and when i get home from being stationed overseas im installing it, but i have a few questions for anyone........
How difficult was it/time consumed?
The vendor said the windshield washer nozzles/hose isnt a direct replacement, howd you guys end up installing them?
And i keep seeing "off road use only" and i'd need hood pins, this will be my daily driver so anyone having any issues b/c of not installing hood pins?
Thanks

I installed hood pins. I race the car so it was a must to get through tech. The install wasn't very difficult, because the factory hood weights about the same. The plastic brackets for the washer need a few small holes drilled so it could mount. I removed all them off the stock hood first then removed the hood. I think the clips on the hose are 1/4 turn then pull out.

Are there any more group buys? I have the money already for a the VIS AMS hood. I had already bought one from somewhere for the same price, but it got damaged along with my car during a hail storm we had down here. I'm in for another VIS AMS hood if there is another group buy.

Joe11SS and MIACamaro87...I can talk to the vendor and see if he'll do the AMS the same $750 price with the $150 shipping as noted in my original post in the thread. If he provides that price, would you want to purchase for sure? I don't want to go through the process if you guys are only thinking about it. Let me know for sure if you want to proceed.

These hoods aren't the greatest for daily drivers in rainy cities. There are hood vents but if you're parked under pouring rain, things can still leak down.

I can check with the vendor on pickup. But, you're in SoCal. They'll deliver for $30 or even free. Let me know.

Send a message via AIM to Kyle.Gilmour
probably going to go this route as well.

Armo.. Inferno... can you post pictures in here of your hoods?
also, you mention for racing you needed hood pins, why is that? Does this latch like the stock hood?

can you post pics of the hardware that goes along with it?

thanks guys.!

Replied to PMs. If people are still interested in this hood, I can see if the vendor will work out another group buy. If not, they've offered great prices to other interested members. Just passing along the info...

Awesome! Which vendor? Did it work for you, and I wonder if they will do it again?

I found this vendor to be the cheapest. I hope he'll reduce his price by $100+ with an offer.
