1LT vs 2LT?

Right now I am trying to decide whether to go with the 1LT or 2LT. If I go with the former, I will be a little bit more comfortably economically, but I might be able to get the 2LT, although I might be a little more tight economically. So I ask you 1LT and 2LT owners, do you guys think the 2LT is worth it? of course, it all comes down to opinion, so if you guys have pictures of your own 1LT's and 2LT's to compare, that would be awesome .

Thanks!

Go with the 1LT, you'll feel better. Same engine, less comfort features.

If your already surfing the forums better think real hard about a 1ss....JS.....triple check that it's not what you want if your thinking of a 2lt....

You can get a 1lt with everything a 2lt has except for the leather, usuless HUD, and the gauges which you can buy! I have it all in mine and it's $4,000 cheaper than a 2LT

Simply this: buy what you can afford.

Good point here, you may want to look at used 1SSes because this site will make you want more. Guaranteed.

1ss is kinda tempting sometimes, but I am probably going to go with a V6....don't really need the V8.

Everytime I drive my LT it wins me back over but....for the sake of mods and the fact that I screwed up and drove a v8 Im changing up. Hell I can't even find lowering spring for my v6, my only option is coilovers. The v6 is badass...the v8 is bader asser.lmao

If you don't mind used you can get more car for less $$$

I love the heated seats of my 2LT And the better stereo did not hurt..

And they don't melt in the snow

You must not be looking because there are afew options of springs out there. And If anything do a FE3 swap for about $150 which gives you about a 1 inch drop. And the option to put on SS springs.

I like to buy new also . You figure the extra 4 grand will be about 80 bucks more a month depending on how long you are financing . If you can afford it get the 2Lt . To be honest the HUD , bluetooth , leather , door lighting and other features are really nice . I would not have been as happy with a 1LT but that's just me . I like the upgrades alot . If you are thinking about a 1LT and there is light at the end of the tunnel , just do it and don't second guess yourself after you are done . Good luck to you .

You have an early model LLT which I believe is the most mod friendly of the v6 models. In the end I feel the LT headers, tune and throttle body are all you need if you want to have a crazy badass v6.. We have some like that in our ECC camaro group. My v6 LFX is a little beast and I'm not going to knock it either.

2LT RS... no regrets! The leather is great, I don't get static shocked getting in and out of my car. Besides the leather, the other extras in the 2LT RS package were worth it to me. I didn't really need the V8 either and while it would be nice, it's not necessary imo. 312 hp is fine for my needs.
and here's a couple of pix like you asked to see.
