According to our customers, yes.

Car pulls much harder now, and sounds different too...

So I definitely recommend it!

I would like to say APEX has super fast shipping, I placed my order on Friday evening and received it on Wednesday.

The CAI offers a lot without a scoop but more with it.

I got the scoop sitting in my garage waiting to go on, along with my one piece driveshaft. Come on spring...

The scoop allows for more air flow to the CAI. The more air you can get the better it will run.

I felt a big difference in sound and power. Don't worry about the power your going to get from a 50 dollar scoop there IS going to be gains but nothing huge. I guess its for people who like to get all the hp they can get. Im ordering my scoop from adm and washer relocater from apex. Im also getting a vmax throttle body for spring break so I should notice some good gains

really good question. i am trying to learn as much as i can. what does a throttle body do? how much does an average one cost? and would it void a warranty in your opinion? thanks

It will give you better throttle response most of all. It's also supposed to give you a few extra HP but what I mostly noticed was better response.

Get the VMax ported TB. They are CNC ported which means they will be consitantly ported. Done by computer/machine...not by hand. It will cost you about $150 + exchange. Do a search on VMax and read what everyone says.

Warranty....yes, the factory warranty on your TB will probably be no good. Other than that there shouldn't be an issue.

BTW: plan to add the scoop when you can. Once you see how the air space infront of your intake is clogged up by your washer bottle and then the way the scoop grabs air from the front of the grill you'll realize there is no way it can't help.
