Headers and Warranty

I'm thinking about LT headers with high flow cats. Can anyone say for sure if the drive train warranty will still be good? Thanks in advance.

If you tune your car you lose your powertrain warranty. If you mod your car, be prepared for your dealer to deny you warranty work.

Give these articles from our blog a read. With headers you are getting into territory where it is very easy for them to wash their hands. My suggestion is do not so headers until you are ready to tune and do not tune until you are ready to walk away from the warranty.

Will This Mod Void My Warranty?

Will A Tune Void My Warranty?

I found a dealer that has a performance group and they said if they do the mods, they will stand by the warranty. I'm going that route. I hope I never have to find out if they are blowing smoke or not.

If you have an extended warranty, I would almost bet my next paycheck whatever you do will void that warranty either way.

I would say if you can't afford to loose your warranty don't do anything to jeopardize it.

I bought the extended warranty...but not for the drivetrain. I bought for all the electronic stuff and things like the heated seats and power mirrors.

Drivetrain warranty....GONE!
